sceneflixra.info
Stories behind everyday moments, told from across Canada.
An independent editorial publication about the people, places and quiet details that shape ordinary life — one conversation, one street, one city at a time.
What we cover
Our mission is to make everyday stories visible.
sceneflixra.info exists to slow down and pay attention — to the people, places and routines that make up the texture of daily life in Canada.
People & Interviews
Conversations with everyday Canadians whose experiences rarely make headlines.
Everyday Life
Small observations and routines that quietly define how we live.
Places & Communities
Neighborhoods, towns and public spaces examined through the people who shape them.
Culture & Architecture
The buildings, traditions and cultural shifts that give cities their character.
Visual Storytelling
Photo essays that let a single image carry the weight of a story.
Documentary Video
Longer-form visual pieces that follow a subject beyond a single moment.
Our approach
Documentary storytelling, done carefully.
Every story starts with listening. We spend time with the people and places we cover before we write a single word, because everyday life deserves the same care as any other subject.
- Independently reported, with editorial and commercial content kept clearly separate.
- Sourced through real conversations, not press releases or aggregated content.
- Published with named authors, dates and transparent corrections when needed.
How we work
From first conversation to published story.
- 1We find a story by spending time in a place, not by chasing trends.
- 2We interview the people involved directly, in their own words.
- 3We fact-check details and credit every source accurately.
- 4We publish with clear authorship and an open path for corrections.
